Exchanging and sharing for the good of all
The success of the different projects in the OPE network depends in large measure on the active participation of the different stakeholders at local and national level.
At the local level
Each CIG in the OPE network establishes a fundamental link with the rest of the network, the local stakeholders, the municipalities and the population. But the work would be unfeasible without volunteers. Each CIG has the legal status of a non-profit organisation, with a board of directors composed of volunteers. Most of them are representatives of the community’s economically active population who throw themselves heart and soul into “their” CIG.
It is therefore necessary that, at the local level, elected officials, associations, trade unions, businesses and the population get involved from the outset in the preparation of projects, from the needs analysis to the implementation and operation in daily life.
At the national level
It is important to establish partnerships at the national level to enhance the recognition of solidarity-based economy companies and to boost the impact on a global scale. OPE is actively seeking to establish cooperation with the ministries, authorities, federations and different organisations of the plural economy. The aim is to manage to influence and to guide socio-economic policies and in so doing to create a more interdependent society.
